Bella, a famous travel blogger, was found dead during a ghost tour led by the theatrical Percy Shadows. Now, it’s up to you to uncover the truth.
Was it Walter, the obsessed boyfriend? Percy, the ghost tour guide with a flair for the dramatic? Or is someone else hiding in the shadows?

Perguntas frequentes
Where does the Bakersfield murder mystery start, and where does it go?
It starts at the Liberty Bell in Bakersfield. The route of about 2.3 km takes in stops such as the Kern County Superior Court, Centennial Plaza, The Nile Theater, The Padre Hotel and Riley's Tavern, where you pick up clues about the case.
How long does the game take?
Plan for around 90 minutes of walking and investigating over roughly 2.3 km. You can pause at any point, stop for food or a drink along the way, and continue later from where you left off.
Is it suitable for kids?
It works best for older kids and teens playing alongside adults. The plot is about a travel blogger found dead during a ghost tour, and solving it means weighing clues and questioning suspects, so younger children may find the theme and the reasoning hard going.
Do we need to book a time, and can our group play together?
There is no set time slot and no guide to meet. You start whenever you like and play on your own phones, and one ticket covers your whole group, which suits date nights, friend groups and birthday or hen parties.
Is it played outdoors, and what if it rains?
Yes, the whole game is played outside as you walk between stops in the city, so dress for the weather. If rain sets in, you can pause the game and pick it up again later.
