Perguntas frequentes

Is there an app for exploring Baile Govora on foot?
Yes. This quest is played on your phone and leads you through the resort from place to place, including Hotel Stephanescu, the Old Gazebo, the Ferdinand Spring and the Power Plant. At each stop it tells the story of the place and sets a puzzle based on what is in front of you.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at the Thermal Park entrance and loops back to the same spot, so you end where you began. The route is about 2.6 km and passes the villas, Hotel Palace, the Casino, the Baths and the Ferdinand Spring along the way.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Plan on about two hours at a relaxed pace. You can pause whenever you like and continue later, which suits resort guests fitting the walk around treatment times or stopping for a coffee between the Casino and the Baths.
Is it good for children?
It suits school-age children who enjoy clues, as the walk is built around finding whoever stole a sapphire necklace from a holiday guest. The story is a light mystery. Very young children may find two hours and 2.6 km of walking long.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
No booking is needed: start any time that suits you, with no guide or set group. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so couples and families can solve the clues together.
