Algumas respostas antes de partir
Perguntas frequentes
Where does the Zilker Park date walk start and finish?
It starts at Zilker Hillside Theater and finishes at Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum, so it does not return to the start. Along the way you pass Philosopher's Rock, Eliza Spring, the Pecan Grove, Lou Neff Point, the Barton Creek Pedestrian Bridge, the Sunken Garden, the Monkey Tree and Barton Springs.
How long does the walk take?
Most couples take around 90 minutes, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route covers about 3.6 km through Zilker Park, so wear comfortable shoes and allow a little extra time if you like to linger at the springs or the creek.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No. You play on your phone and can start whenever you like, with no group to join and no guide to meet. If you want a break for food or a rest, you can pause the quest and continue later from where you stopped.
Can two of us play together?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so a couple can follow the route side by side, read the stories and work out the puzzles as a team from the same quest.
Do we go inside any of the places?
No. Entering the places is not part of the experience. The stories and puzzles are based on what you can see from outside, including at the final stop, Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum, so the whole quest is played outdoors in the park.
