Kilka odpowiedzi przed wyjściem
Często zadawane pytania
Is this a self-guided walking tour of Pittsburgh?
Yes. You play it on your phone, and the app leads you through 12 stops in Downtown Pittsburgh, telling the story of each place and setting a puzzle based on what is in front of you. There is no guide and no group to join, so you can start whenever you like.
Where is the Roberto Clemente Bridge on the route?
It is the third stop, reached after the Fort Duquesne Marker and the Sidewalk Judge Sculpture. The app tells you about the bridge, including its role as host of Picklesburgh, one of America's biggest specialty food festivals, before leading you on toward Heinz Hall.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at the Fort Duquesne Marker and finishes at PPG Plaza, so it is not a loop. In between you pass Heinz Hall, Agnes R. Katz Plaza, the Duquesne Club, Harris Theater, Mellon Square, the City-County Building and Kaufmann's Clock, among other stops.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Most players take about two hours for the 3.6 km route, including walking and solving the puzzles. You can pause at any point and continue later, which makes it easy to stop for a meal or a coffee. It is best played during the day.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, one ticket covers the whole group playing together, which suits couples, friends and families. There is no fixed start time to book. You begin at the Fort Duquesne Marker whenever it suits you and move through the stops at your own pace.
