POUFNE / OPIS SPRAWY
Tu zaczyna się historia.
You know the old saying, “The boyfriend did it”? On an ill-fated night, love goes terribly wrong for Bella Wanderlust and Walter Bridges.
Bella, a famous travel blogger, was found dead during a ghost tour led by the theatrical Percy Shadows. Now, it’s up to you to uncover the truth.
Was it Walter, the obsessed boyfriend? Percy, the ghost tour guide with a flair for the dramatic? Or is someone else hiding in the shadows?
🔎 Gather clues, interrogate suspects, and expose the real murderer before they strike again. Make sure to have your pen and paper ready to jot down all the crucial evidence.
Czy to dla was?
Dla kogo jest
Couples planning a date night, friends and families with teens get to play detective: a travel blogger found dead on a ghost tour, suspects to question and clues to gather over 11 stops near City Hall, in around 90 minutes. It suits anyone weighing up an escape room but keen to be outside. Skip it if you want live actors, or if a 2.1 km walk is too far.
Co wyróżnia ten quest
Najważniejsze
A travel blogger is dead and the trail through Newcastle is still warm enough to follow.
Read the scene, then read the people, decipher hidden messages and piece the evidence together until the alibis stop agreeing.
Twelve stops across 2.1 km from King St, past Civic Park, on historic streets and in the corners most visitors walk straight past.
A date night that is also a killer group activity, played with your partner, a few friends, or alone if you trust yourself.
Just your phone, starting whenever you like, with nothing to collect and nobody waiting on you.

Kilka odpowiedzi przed wyjściem
Często zadawane pytania
Is this a good alternative to an escape room in Newcastle?
It is an outdoor puzzle game rather than a locked room. You solve a murder on your own phones, gathering clues and interrogating suspects as the app leads you between 11 real places in central Newcastle. You start whenever you like, with no booked time slot.
Where does the murder mystery in Newcastle start?
It starts at Newcastle City Hall. From there the app guides you on foot through stops such as Newcastle Local Court, Wheeler Place, the Corona Building, Memorial Grove and Civic Park, covering about 2.1 km in total.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Plan on around 90 minutes, depending on how quickly you crack the clues and how long you linger at each stop. You can pause at any point, for a drink or a break, and pick up the investigation later where you left off.
Can a group play on one ticket?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so friends, couples or a birthday party can each follow along on their own phones. There is no guide and no joining other players, so it is just your group investigating together.
Is it suitable for kids?
It works best for adults, older kids and teens. The story centres on a death during a ghost tour, with suspects to question and clues to piece together, so younger children may find both the theme and the puzzles hard going.
