Kilka odpowiedzi przed wyjściem

Często zadawane pytania

How is this different from a free walking tour in Mons?
Free walking tours in Mons run at set times with a guide and usually expect a tip. This walk has no guide and no fixed departure: you start when you like, follow your phone from stop to stop, hear the story of each place and solve a puzzle there. One ticket covers your whole group.
Where does the walk start and how long is it?
It starts and finishes at Place Léopold, so you end where you began. The loop covers about 2.4 km through the old town, including the Grand Place, Place du Chapitre, Marché aux herbes and Rue à degrés, and takes around 70 minutes, a little over an hour, at an easy pace.
Is it a good activity for children?
Yes, it is tagged as family friendly. The game is built on riddles and spotting hidden details in the streets, so children old enough to look closely and help with puzzles tend to enjoy it. At about 2.4 km, it suits kids who can manage a walk of just over an hour.
When is the best time to play?
The route is open at any hour, but it works best in daylight and playing at night is not recommended. Note that the Market Hall is closed on Sundays. On sunny days bring a hat, sunscreen and water, and make sure your phone is charged or carry a power bank.
Do we need to book a time, and can we take a break?
No time slot is needed: start whenever suits your day in Mons. You can pause the game at any point, stop for a coffee or a look around the Grand Place, and continue later from where you left off.
