POUFNE / OPIS SPRAWY
Tu zaczyna się historia.
You know the old saying, “The boyfriend did it”? On an ill-fated night, love goes terribly wrong for Bella Wanderlust and Walter Bridges.
Bella, a famous travel blogger, was found dead during a ghost tour led by the theatrical Percy Shadows. Now, it’s up to you to uncover the truth.
Was it Walter, the obsessed boyfriend? Percy, the ghost tour guide with a flair for the dramatic? Or is someone else hiding in the shadows?
🔎 Gather clues, interrogate suspects, and expose the real murderer before they strike again. Make sure to have your pen and paper ready to jot down all the crucial evidence.
Czy to dla was?
Dla kogo jest
Over about 90 minutes and 1.9 km in Iowa City, you work out who killed travel blogger Bella Wanderlust during a ghost tour, weighing her boyfriend Walter against the theatrical guide Percy Shadows. Couples on a date night, groups of friends and families with teens get to question suspects and gather clues, outdoors at a time they choose. Anyone wanting a staged murder mystery dinner should book that instead.

Kilka odpowiedzi przed wyjściem
Często zadawane pytania
Is there a murder mystery game I can play in Iowa City?
Yes. This is a self-guided murder mystery played on your phone as you walk through Iowa City. You gather clues and interrogate suspects to work out what happened to travel blogger Bella Wanderlust, found dead during a ghost tour. You can start any time, with no guide.
How is this different from a murder mystery dinner?
Instead of watching actors over a meal, you do the investigating yourselves, outdoors, at a time you pick, on your own phones. The route is about 1.9 km and takes around 90 minutes. You can pause and continue later if you want a break.
Is it like an escape room in Iowa City?
There are puzzles to solve, but in the streets rather than a locked room. The app leads you from place to place, tells the story of each spot and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you. There is no booked time slot and no staff running the game.
Can our whole group play together?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated. Everyone follows the same case and can compare clues and suspects as you walk, which suits friends, couples and birthday groups.
Is it suitable for children?
The story centres on a death and a list of suspects, so it fits older kids and teens playing alongside adults better than young children. Expect a walk of about 1.9 km and around 90 minutes of play, with the option to pause.
