A hooded Oracle sends you after ten restless spirits. Each one is stuck on unfinished business, so you solve its mystery, catch it and get a clue. The clues lead you across town until you can name the Evil One, the spirit who has been lying to you, and destroy it.
Can we do a private ghost hunt just for our own group?
Yes. There is no guide and no group of strangers. You start whenever you like on your own phones, and one ticket covers your whole group up to the number of devices stated. You can also pause the game and continue later.
Is it like a ghost escape room?
It plays like one, but outdoors. You crack ciphers and riddles to catch each spirit, and some answers can only be found in the street in front of you. Instead of one locked room, the puzzles are spread along a 2.3 km walk through the city.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
The hunt starts at St Paul's Cathedral and takes around 90 minutes over about 2.3 km. Along the way you pass places such as the Larry La Trobe statue, Chinatown and Scots' Church. There is no fixed start time to book.
