You play a messenger delivering orders to the garrisons of Zaragoza before Napoleon's army arrives. At each stop the app tells the story of the place and sets a riddle or challenge based on what is in front of you, linking the city's monuments to the time of the sieges.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the statue of Caesaraugustus, the city's founder, and loops back to the same spot at the end. Along the way you pass the Central Market, the New Tower site, Plaza de la Magdalena, a convent in the Roman walls, the riverbank, the Stone Bridge and the Goya fountain.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Plan on around 1.5 to 2 hours to cover 13 stops and about 3.7 km on foot. The route is outdoors, including a stretch along the river shore and a viewpoint, so it is best played in the morning to avoid the heat.
