Een paar antwoorden voor vertrek
Veelgestelde vragen
Is there a secret society mystery game to play in Winnipeg?
Yes. In this detective game a whistleblower draws you into exposing The Kingmakers, a secret society said to steer world leaders from the shadows. You decode clues on your phone while walking a route past the Taché Promenade, the Belvédère Saint-Boniface, the Louis Riel Monument and other stops.
Can we play it today without booking a time?
Yes. There is no fixed slot, guide or group to join, so you can start whenever you like, today or this weekend. Head to Old City Hall, open the app and begin. You can also pause partway and continue later if you need a break.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
The game starts at Old City Hall and loops back there at the end. Along the way it passes the Taché Promenade, the Taché Public Dock, the Belvédère Saint-Boniface, the Georges Forest Monument in Provencher Park and the Louis Riel Monument. The walk is about 2.2 km and takes around 90 minutes.
Is it a good alternative to an escape room for kids?
It is aimed at adults and works well for families with teens who enjoy puzzles and a conspiracy plot. Younger children may find the story and code breaking less engaging, so it suits older kids who like detective games best.
Can our group play together, and is it outdoors?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group up to the stated number of devices, so friends or family can solve the clues together. The whole game is played outdoors on foot, so dress for the weather and consider pausing if rain sets in.
