Een paar antwoorden voor vertrek
Veelgestelde vragen
Where in Vienna does this city game take you?
It starts at Schloss Schönbrunn and stays in the palace gardens. The route passes the Westlicher Najadenbrunnen, Rosarium, Palmenhaus, Neptunbrunnen, Kleine Gloriette, Gloriette, Obeliskbrunnen and Römische Ruine before returning to the palace, with a puzzle at each stop.
How long does the Schönbrunn quest take and how far is the walk?
Plan on about an hour of play over a 3.6 km route through the gardens. You can pause at any point and continue later, so a coffee break or a slower pace with children is no problem.
Is it good for kids?
Yes, it is tagged family friendly. The puzzles involve decoding diary pages, sound-based riddles, spotting hidden clues and image puzzles, so it suits children old enough to read and work through clues, roughly school age. Younger children can join in with an adult doing the reading.
Is it fine to do on a hot day?
The whole route is outdoors in the gardens, so mornings are best to avoid the heat. Bring a hat, sunscreen and enough water, and make sure your phone is fully charged or carry a power bank, since the game runs on your phone.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
There is no time slot to book: you start whenever you like at Schloss Schönbrunn, with no guide or group to meet. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so families and friends can solve the clues together.
