Een paar antwoorden voor vertrek

Veelgestelde vragen

How long does the Oz game in Tampa take, and what hours can we play?

Plan on around 90 minutes to cover the 2 km route. There is no booking slot, so you start whenever suits your group, and you can pause and continue later if you need a break or want to split it across two outings.

Is this a good thing to do with kids this weekend?

It suits families with kids or teens who like solving puzzles together. You follow clues on foot from place to place and work out escape-room-style challenges set in what is in front of you. With no fixed start time, you can fit it into any free part of the weekend.

Is this a Wizard of Oz scavenger hunt?

In a way. You follow clues to find each new location, then crack puzzles to outsmart the witch alongside a team of misfits. The story is newly written and inspired by L. Frank Baum's original 1900 Oz novel, with original Oz-themed songs you can play in the app and at home.

Where does the game start and end?

It starts near the entrance to the Old Hillsborough County Courthouse on N Pierce St and finishes back at the same spot. Along the way you pass places such as the Tampa Firefighters Museum, Joe Chillura Courthouse Square, Lykes Gaslight Square Park and the weather clock.

Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?

Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, and you can also play solo against the leaderboard. You do not book a time slot: start on the street whenever you are ready, unlike a fixed-time indoor escape room.
