Does this work as a group tour of Seattle?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, and you play on your own phones without a guide. To keep the group together and avoid big crowds at Pike Place Market and along the piers, try playing on a weekday during working hours.
Do I need Seattle Great Wheel tickets to play?
No. The walk starts and finishes at the Seattle Great Wheel, but no attraction tickets are required. The same goes for the Seattle Art Museum and the Seattle Aquarium on the route: you visit them from outside as stops on the walk, so you only buy entry if you decide to go in.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Plan on about 2.5 hours for roughly 3.5 km. The route loops from the Great Wheel past Pier 54, Pike Place Market, the Harbor Steps and Victor Steinbrueck Park, then back via Pier 62 and the Aquarium. Extra time spent browsing or eating along the way adds to that.
Do we need to book a time, and can we take a break?
There is no time slot to book. You start whenever you like from the Seattle Great Wheel, and you can pause the game at any point, for lunch at the market or a coffee, then pick up where you left off later.
