Over deze quest
Forget every ghost story you've heard about this city. This Halloween, ten restless spirits are loose on its streets. 👻 No history book knows their names. No tour guide has heard of them. Most are just lost souls. One is lying to you. 💀
A hooded Oracle needs a ghost hunter. Every spirit is stuck on unfinished business: solve its mystery, catch it, and it gives up a clue. Follow the trail across town, crack ciphers and riddles (some only the street itself can answer), then name the Evil One and destroy it before it finds you. 🕷️
Is dit iets voor jullie?
Voor wie het is
Starting at LBC, this 2.2 km Santa Barbara route takes around 90 minutes: track ten restless spirits, crack ciphers and riddles, some answered only by the street, and name the Evil One. Friends, couples, families with older kids and escape-room fans who'd rather play than listen enjoy it. The spirits are invented, not local legend, so if you want real ghost history from a live guide, book a guided walk.

Veelgestelde vragen
Is this a ghost tour of Santa Barbara?
It is a self-guided ghost hunt played on your phone, not a guided tour. Instead of retelling known local legends, it sets ten restless, made-up spirits loose on the streets. You solve each one's mystery to catch it and earn a clue, with no guide and no fixed start time.
Does it work like a murder mystery game?
In spirit, yes. A hooded Oracle sends you after ten ghosts, each stuck on unfinished business. Solving their mysteries gives you clues, and one spirit is lying to you. To finish, you follow the trail across town, name the Evil One and destroy it.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes to cover roughly 2.2 km on foot. You can pause at any point and continue later, so you can stop for food or a break and pick up the hunt where you left off.
Is it suitable for kids?
It suits families with older children, roughly 10 and up, who enjoy a spooky theme and can handle ciphers and riddles, some of which are answered by details on the street. The horror and haunts theme may be too much for very young or easily scared children.
Do we need to book a time, and can our group share one ticket?
There is no time slot to book: start whenever you like, including outside Halloween night. One ticket covers your whole group, and everyone plays together outdoors on the streets, so dress for the weather on the day.
