Over deze quest
Step into the charming district of Trastevere in Rome and discover its hidden treasures with this immersive walking tour and escape game.
Wander through picturesque alleys where time seems to stand still, uncovering mysterious legends and learning about unique Roman traditions. Along the way, follow in the footsteps of the famous love story between Raphael Sanzio and La Fornarina, and stumble upon unexpected works of street art that bring the neighborhood to life.
In this journey, you are Luisa Valiena, returning to Trastevere after nine years in the U.S. to fulfill your late brother Pietro’s final wish. As you retrace your steps through the district, you’ll uncover family secrets, solve puzzles, and reconnect with a city you once knew so well.
Perfect for history lovers, romantics, and adventurers, this self-guided tour lets you explore Trastevere at your own pace, blending history, art, and a personal story of rediscovery.

Veelgestelde vragen
Is this a game or a walking tour of Trastevere?
It is both. The app leads you on foot from place to place through Trastevere, tells the story of each spot and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you. Along the way you follow Raphael and La Fornarina's love story, local legends, Roman traditions and street art.
Is it an escape room in Trastevere?
Not an indoor room. It works like an escape game played outdoors on your phone, with puzzles hidden in the streets, squares and buildings of Trastevere. You walk between 10 stops, including Porta Settimiana, Piazza di Santa Cecilia and Vicolo dell'Atleta, solving each clue to move on.
Where does the walk start and how long does it take?
It starts at Ponte Fabricio and finishes back there, so it is easy to plan around. The route covers about 2.3 km and takes around 90 minutes, passing Piazza Trilussa, the Finestra della Fornarina, Santa Maria in Trastevere and Piazza in Piscinula on the way.
Is it good for kids?
It is tagged as a recommended activity for families. The puzzles are built on what you can see around you, which suits children old enough to read clues and walk about 2.3 km. It is best done during the day, when the alleys are easier to explore.
Can we play as a group, book a time or pause?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated. There is no set start time and no guide to meet, so you can begin whenever you like. You can also pause, stop for a coffee in Trastevere and continue later.
