Is this a Wizard of Oz escape room in Perth?
It is an outdoor, escape-room-style game inspired by L. Frank Baum's original Oz novel from 1900. You follow clues through central Perth, crack puzzles to outsmart the witch and hear original Oz-themed songs written for the game, which you can also play on demand at home.
Where does the Oz escape game start and finish?
It starts and ends at the Art Gallery of Western Australia, so you finish where you began. Along the way the route passes stops such as the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Saints Constantine and Helen, Beaufort Street and the State Library of Western Australia.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes to walk about 2.3 km and solve the puzzles. You do not have to do it in one go: you can pause the game, stop for a break and continue later from where you left off.
Do we need to book a time slot, and can a group play together?
There is no booking slot. You start whenever suits you, on your phone, with no guide to meet. One ticket covers your whole group, so friends, families or a birthday crowd can team up to solve the clues together.

Yes. You can take on the witch's challenges solo and compete against the leaderboard, or join forces with friends to crack the puzzles as a team. Either way, the clues lead you to each new location along the route.
