At a Paris flea market you find a gold ring engraved with a date — 4.VII.1925 — and a riddle: "look for the question." Follow the trail of Antoine, one of the electricians who first made the Eiffel Tower shine, from the golden statues of Trocadéro across the Seine to a hidden corner where the tower fills the street. 

Five stops, five ingredients of the perfect proposal, one hundred years of a love story — and an ending only you can write.

Is this a good way to plan an Eiffel Tower proposal?
The story is built around five ingredients of the perfect proposal, following Antoine, one of the electricians who first made the tower shine, and a ring engraved 4.VII.1925. It ends on Rue de l'Université, where the tower fills the street, with an ending only you can write.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at Trocadéro, the Balcony of Paris, then crosses the Pont d'Iéna to the Eiffel Tower and the Champ de Mars. It finishes on Rue de l'Université, not back at the start. The route covers about 2.2 km.
How long does it take, and when should we go?
Most players take around an hour and a half, including walking and puzzles. You can play at any time of day, but the quest recommends going after sunset, when the walk from Trocadéro to the tower is at its most romantic.
Do we need to book a time or pay to play?
No. The quest is free to play and there is no time slot to book or group to join. Start whenever you like on your phone, and you can pause and continue later if you stop for dinner or a drink along the way.
Are the puzzles difficult?
The difficulty is rated easy. Each puzzle is set in what you can see at the stop in front of you, so you can focus on each other and the views of the tower rather than on hard riddles.
