Veelgestelde vragen
Can we do a ghost walk in Palermo tonight without booking a tour?
Yes. There is no set departure time, no group to join and no guide to meet. You start on your phone whenever you are ready, including in the evening, and the app leads you through the old centre's ghost stories at your own pace. You can also pause and continue later.
Which haunted places in Palermo does the route visit?
The stops, in walking order, are Fontana Pretoria, Piazza Bellini, Sant'Orsola dei Negri, Santa Maria degli Agonizzanti, Genio del Garraffo, Piazza Garaffello, Colonna dell'Immacolata, Sant'Ignazio all'Olivella, Teatro Massimo, a votive shrine of the Deposition, Santa Maria di Gesù al Capo, Sant'Agata alla Guilla, Palermo Cathedral and Quattro Canti.
Is this a good thing to do in Palermo at Halloween?
It fits the season well. The story has you racing to stop evil spirits risen from the afterlife, deciphering codes as you walk through centuries of Palermo's dark past. Because you choose your own start time, it works around other Halloween plans without booking.
Where does it start and finish, and how long does it take?
The route is a loop of about 3.5 km. It starts at Fontana Pretoria and finishes at Quattro Canti. Most players take just over two hours, including the walking and the puzzles, and you can pause along the way if you need a break.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so friends or a couple can follow the story and solve the codes side by side on the same game rather than each buying their own.
