Een paar antwoorden voor vertrek
Veelgestelde vragen
Where does the Lincoln detective game start?
The game begins at Point 1, listed in the app as LBC in Lincoln. Once you arrive and start, the app leads you from place to place, telling the story of each spot and setting a puzzle based on what is in front of you.
How long does it take and how far will we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes, covering roughly 2.6 km on foot outdoors. Your actual time depends on how quickly your group cracks the clues, and you can pause at any point and continue later if you need a break or want to stop for food.
Is it suitable for kids?
It is aimed at adults and families with teens. The story is a conspiracy thriller about a secret society manipulating world events, and the puzzles involve decoding secrets, so teenagers who like mysteries tend to enjoy it more than younger children, who may lose interest over the distance.
Can we play as a group on one ticket?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated for the quest. Friends, couples or families can work through the clues together on the same walk, with no need to join strangers or a guided tour.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No. The game is self-guided on your phone, so you can start any time that suits you, today or at the weekend. There is no guide to meet and no fixed departure, and you can pause partway and pick up where you left off later.
