Is dit iets voor jullie?
Voor wie het is
Couples and small groups of friends who like escape rooms and crime stories will spend around two hours solving a murder case on foot through Funchal. The case takes you from the Fortress past St. Luzia, the Wine Institute and a sweet factory, with no booked slot to work around. If you would rather question a live guide, or want a light family outing instead of a murder plot, choose another quest.

Een paar antwoorden voor vertrek
Veelgestelde vragen
Is this like a quest room or escape room in Funchal?
It is outdoors instead of a locked room. You play on your phone as the app leads you through 10 stops over about 2.3 km. It tells the story of each place and sets puzzles in what is in front of you while you work through a murder case.
Where does the murder mystery start and how long does it take?
It starts at the Fortress and finishes back at the Fortress. In between you visit stops such as Jardim, St. Luzia, the Wine Institute, the Sweet Factory and a chapel. Allow around two hours to walk the 2.3 km route and solve the puzzles.
Do we need to book a time, and can we pause?
No booking is needed. You start whenever you like, with no group and no guide, and you can pause and continue later. One ticket covers your whole group, so friends or a couple can play together on the same game.
Can we do it on a Sunday?
The quest comes with a note that the Market Hall is closed on Sunday. If you want the route to run as planned, a weekday or Saturday is the safer choice.
Is it suitable for children?
This quest is not tagged as a family quest. It is built around a murder case with puzzles to solve, and it is aimed at adults, couples and friends. Families with young children will likely be happier with a different quest.
