Veelgestelde vragen
Is there a secret society game you can play in El Paso?
Yes. This detective mystery has you exposing The Kingmakers, a fictional secret society said to have steered world leaders for centuries, after a whistleblower comes forward. You play it on your phone downtown, solving puzzles at real places to unravel the conspiracy before their next scheme.
Is this something we can do downtown today without booking a time?
Yes. There is no set time slot and no guide to meet, so you can start whenever you like, today or at the weekend. The game begins at El Paso County Court House and leads you around downtown from there.
How is this different from an escape room?
It uses the same mix of codes, clues and a ticking storyline, but you play outdoors on your phone while walking real city streets instead of being locked in a booked room. The puzzles are set in what is in front of you at each stop.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
It starts at El Paso County Court House and finishes back there, after stops at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, San Jacinto Plaza and Aztec Calendar Park. Allow around 90 minutes for a walk of about 2.1 km, all outdoors.
Can our group play together, and can we take a break?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, so friends, couples and families with teens can solve it together. You can pause at any point, stop for food or a rest, and continue the story later from where you left off.
