Het verhaal begint hier.
You know the old saying, “The boyfriend did it”? On an ill-fated night, love goes terribly wrong for Bella Wanderlust and Walter Bridges.
Bella, a famous travel blogger, was found dead during a ghost tour led by the theatrical Percy Shadows. Now, it’s up to you to uncover the truth.
Was it Walter, the obsessed boyfriend? Percy, the ghost tour guide with a flair for the dramatic? Or is someone else hiding in the shadows?
🔎 Gather clues, interrogate suspects, and expose the real murderer before they strike again. Make sure to have your pen and paper ready to jot down all the crucial evidence.
Is dit iets voor jullie?
Voor wie het is
Over about 90 minutes and 2.4 km on foot through Downey, you piece together how travel blogger Bella Wanderlust died on a ghost tour, questioning her boyfriend Walter and the theatrical guide Percy Shadows. It suits friends who would rather solve a case outdoors than sit in an escape room, and teens who like a whodunit. Anyone wanting a murder mystery dinner with live actors should pick something else.

Veelgestelde vragen
Is this like an escape room in Downey?
It shares the puzzle solving and the race to an answer, but it happens outdoors. You walk the streets of Downey with your phone, gather clues, interrogate suspects and decide who killed Bella Wanderlust. There is no room to book and no staff; you play at your own pace.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes, covering about 2.4 km on foot. Because the app guides you from place to place and lets you pause, you can stop for a coffee or a break and pick the case back up later without losing your progress.
Can our group play together on one ticket?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated for the quest, so friends, couples or a birthday crowd can investigate side by side on their own phones and compare theories about Walter, Percy and the other suspects.
Do we need to book a start time?
No. There is no guide and no fixed group, so you can start whenever suits you, day or evening. You can also pause partway through and continue later, which makes it easy to fit around dinner or other plans in Downey.
Is it suitable for kids?
The story revolves around a murder, a suspicious boyfriend and a dramatic ghost tour guide, so it suits older kids and teens who enjoy a mystery more than young children. The walk is about 2.4 km, which most older children can manage comfortably.
