Een paar antwoorden voor vertrek
Veelgestelde vragen
Where does the Christmas scavenger hunt start in Charleston?
It starts at Waterfront Park. From there the route covers about 2.4 km of downtown, passing places such as the Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon, Washington Square, the Gibbes Museum of Art, The Museum at Market Hall, the Wagner-Trott Building and the corner of King Street and Princess Street.
How long does it take?
Plan on around 90 minutes, including the walking, puzzles and dares. You can start whenever you like, and if you need a break for hot chocolate or shopping, you can pause the game and continue later from where you stopped.
Is it good for kids?
Yes, it is designed with families in mind. Santa, Sparky and Rudolph guide and gently roast your group with jokes, and the tasks mix puzzles with playful dares. Younger children will likely need an adult to read the clues and help work out the answers.
Can we play it as a group or office Christmas outing without booking a time?
Yes. There is no set start time and no guide to meet, so you play when your group is ready. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, which makes it easy to organise for coworkers, friends or visiting relatives.
Is it outdoors, and what if it rains?
The game is played outdoors as you walk between stops in the city, so dress for the weather. If rain or cold sets in, you can pause the game, take shelter and pick up again later without losing your progress.
