Voor wie het is
Friends, couples and families with teens who enjoy escape rooms and murder mysteries get close to two hours of code-breaking on a 2.5 km loop from City Hall, through the Cathedral Quarter and past St Anne's Cathedral and Whites Tavern. Veelgestelde vragen
Is there a mystery game you can play outdoors in Belfast?
Yes. This is a self-guided detective game played on your phone. You follow a whistleblower's leads to expose a secret society called The Kingmakers, solving puzzles at real places such as City Hall, the Cathedral Quarter, the Deep Love Mural and the Spirit of Belfast.
Can we play it as a team or group outing?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so friends, colleagues or family can work through the clues side by side on a single phone. It suits groups who like solving puzzles together while walking through the city centre.
Is it self-guided, and do we need to book a time?
It is fully self-guided, with no guide and no group to join. You start whenever you like, and the app leads you from stop to stop. You can also pause the game and pick it up again later.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
The route starts and ends at Belfast City Hall, making a loop of about 2.5 km. Most players take around an hour and three quarters, including walking and solving the puzzles, with stops such as Bittles Bar, St George's Church, the Duke of York and Whites Tavern.
Is it suitable for children?
It is aimed at adults and works well for families with teenagers who enjoy puzzles. The story is a conspiracy thriller about a secret society, and the walk lasts close to two hours, so it is less suited to young children.
