Over deze quest
Forget every ghost story you've heard about this city. This Halloween, ten restless spirits are loose on its streets. 👻 No history book knows their names. No tour guide has heard of them. Most are just lost souls. One is lying to you. 💀
A hooded Oracle needs a ghost hunter. Every spirit is stuck on unfinished business: solve its mystery, catch it, and it gives up a clue. Follow the trail across town, crack ciphers and riddles (some only the street itself can answer), then name the Evil One and destroy it before it finds you. 🕷️
Is dit iets voor jullie?
Voor wie het is
Starting at LBC, this 1.9 km walk across Ann Arbor takes around 90 minutes as you track ten restless spirits, crack ciphers and street riddles, and name the one lying to you. Friends, couples, families with older kids and puzzle fans who prefer playing to listening will enjoy it. Anyone hoping for a live guide on a night walk, or a staged haunted house with jump scares, should pick something else.

Veelgestelde vragen
Is this a guided ghost tour of Ann Arbor?
No live guide. It is a self-guided ghost hunt played on your phone. The app leads you through the streets, tells each spirit's story and sets a mystery, cipher or riddle to solve before it gives up a clue. You start whenever you like, with no fixed tour time.
Is this a haunted house attraction in Ann Arbor?
No. There is no building to walk through. It is an outdoor walk of about 1.9 km through Ann Arbor's streets, where you hunt ten spirits, follow their clues and finally name and destroy the Evil One. Some riddles can only be answered by looking at the street around you.
Where do we go ghost hunting, and how long does it take?
The hunt starts at Point 1, LBC, and the app guides you from there to each stop. The route is about 1.9 km and most groups take around 90 minutes, depending on how quickly you crack the ciphers and riddles.
Is it suitable for kids?
It suits older kids who enjoy spooky stories and puzzles. The story is a Halloween horror theme with restless spirits and an Evil One to unmask, and the challenges are ciphers and riddles, so younger children or those who frighten easily may find it too much.
Do we need to book a time, and can we pause?
There is no time slot to book. You start whenever suits your group, and one ticket covers your whole group. You can pause the hunt and pick it up later, which helps if you want a break for food or the weather turns.
