Veelgestelde vragen
How long does it take to walk the 2.1 km route?
The walking itself is a fairly small part. Plan on around 90 minutes for the whole game, because you stop along the way to follow the story, gather clues and question suspects. You can pause at any point and continue later.
Is this murder mystery a good idea for a date?
Yes, couples planning a date night are one of the main groups who play it. You solve the case together on your phones, start whenever suits you, and spend about 90 minutes walking and talking through the suspects: Walter the obsessed boyfriend, Percy the theatrical ghost tour guide, or someone else.
Is this an Akron ghost tour?
Not a guided one. The story is set on a ghost tour led by the dramatic Percy Shadows, where a famous travel blogger is found dead. You play it yourself on your phone with no live guide, following the clues and deciding who is guilty.
How is it different from a murder mystery dinner in Akron?
There is no meal, no actors and no fixed seating. You walk about 2.1 km outdoors, gather clues and interrogate suspects through the app, and do all the detective work yourselves. It suits people who would rather investigate on the move at a time they choose.
Do we need to book a time, and can our group play together?
No time slot is needed: start whenever you like and pause if you need a break. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so friends, couples and families with older kids or teens can all play along on their own phones.
