Where is Jackson Square, and where does the quest start and finish?
The quest starts at Jackson Square in the French Quarter and does not loop back. It winds through the Quarter past stops such as Preservation Hall, Muriel's Jackson Square and Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Bar, and finishes at the LaLaurie Mansion.
How long does the ghost walk take?
Most players take about 1.5 hours, walking 1.8 km and solving puzzles along the way. You can pause and continue later, so there is no need to rush any of the ten stops.
Does the route include Preservation Hall?
Yes. Preservation Hall is the fourth stop, between Le Petit Theatre and Faulkner House Books. The app tells its story and sets a puzzle from the street; going inside is not part of the experience.
Do I need tickets for the New Orleans Historic Voodoo Museum?
Not for the quest. The Voodoo Museum is a stop on the route, but you play from outside, since entering the places is not part of the experience. The app leads you there, tells its story and sets a puzzle in what you can see.
Can we play as a group at night?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, and you can start any time with no guide to meet. The quest is best at night; if a clue is hard to see in the dark, use your phone's flashlight.
