You’re an errand boy for the most notorious American gangster of them all, Al Capone. He may be locked up on “The Rock”, but he can get things done!
With sweeping views of Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay, this is one of the most beautiful areas in San Francisco.
Don’t take too much time admiring the scenery, you’re working for “Scarface” and he expects results, and punks who fail end up sleeping with the fishes.

It starts and ends at Hyde St. Pier. Along the way you pass the SouthEnd and Dolphin Rowing Clubs, the Bocce Ball Courts, the Maritime Museum, the Clocktower, Ghirardelli Square and the Mermaid Fountain, the Ayala Monument, the Hyde Street Cable Car, the Buena Vista Cafe and the Cannery.
Is it suitable for kids?
Older kids and teens tend to enjoy the game-style puzzles. Children under 12 should be guided by their parents, and the gangster story has a tough tone, with talk of punks who fail ending up sleeping with the fishes. Plan on about two hours of walking and puzzle solving.
Do we need to book a time or join a group tour?
No. You start whenever you like, with no group and no guide; the app leads you from place to place on your phone. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so friends or family can play together.
Do we have to go inside the places, and can we pause?
You do not enter any of the places, as going inside is not part of the experience, so the walk stays outdoors around Aquatic Park. You can pause at any point, for example for a coffee break, and continue later from where you stopped.
