À propos de cette aventure
In this game you will take a walk through old East Berlin and the famous Prenzlauer Berg district, where many protests for democracy and the release of political prisoners began. Consider the political motivations of the Stasi, see the secret lookout points where they kept tabs on activity around the Eastern side of the wall. Learn all about the interesting changes they imposed and the power they leveraged—including the resulting stoicism of brave refugees.

Questions fréquemment posées
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts and ends at the corner of Oderbergerstr, Schwedterstr and Eberswalderstr in Prenzlauer Berg, so you finish where you began. On the way you pass Platz des 9. November 1989, the Schwedtersteg footbridge, the Gleimtunnel, Falkplatz, Gethsemanekirche and the Friedrich Ludwig Jahn Sportpark.
How long does it take and how far is it?
Plan for about two and three-quarter hours to cover 5.4 km on foot, including time for the stories and puzzles at each stop. You can pause the game and continue later, so it is easy to split the walk into shorter sections if you prefer.
Is it suitable for children?
It is tagged as recommended for families, and the puzzles are set in what you can see around you. The story deals with the Stasi, political prisoners and refugees, and the route is 5.4 km long, so it suits older, school-age children who walk well rather than very young ones.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
No time slot is needed: start whenever you like, with no guide or tour group to meet. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, and everyone follows the same route and puzzles on their phones.
Is it a good idea in the rain or after dark?
The route is outdoors, passing streets, bridges, parks, a tunnel and a cemetery park, and it is tagged as best during the day. Go in daylight and dress for the weather. If rain sets in, you can pause and pick up where you left off on a drier day.
