Preguntas frecuentes
Is there an escape room in West Jordan you can play outdoors?
Yes. This is an outdoor escape-room-style game played on your phone. Instead of a locked room, you follow clues between real places in West Jordan, such as Veterans Memorial Park and the Railroad and Sugar Company Monument, cracking puzzles to outsmart the witch from the Oz story.
How does an outdoor escape game work?
The app gives you a story inspired by the original 1900 Oz novel and sets puzzles based on what is in front of you. Solving each one reveals the next location. You can team up with friends or play solo against the leaderboard, and original Oz-themed songs play in the app.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
The game starts and finishes at West Jordan Library. The route covers about 2.1 km and passes City Hall, the Thomas M. Rees Justice Center and Veterans Memorial Park. Plan on around 90 minutes, though your pace and how quickly you solve the puzzles will change that.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
There is no booking slot. You start whenever you like, and you can pause and carry on later if you need a break. One ticket covers your whole group, so friends, families or coworkers can work on the puzzles together as a team.
Is it outdoors, and what if the weather is bad?
The whole game is played outdoors on the streets of West Jordan, walking between stops. Dress for the weather. Since you choose your own start time and can pause along the way, you can wait for a dry spell or split the route across two outings.
