What will we see in Sibiu's old town on this walk?
The route takes in Sibiu's main historic squares: Piața Mare, Piața Mică and Piața Huet. Along the way you pass the Bridge of Lies, Brukenthal Palace, Casa Generalului and Casa Calfelor (the Journeymen House), and hear about medieval life, guilds and local legends.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
The walk starts in Piața Mică (Little Square) and finishes back there, so you end where you began. It covers about 1.2 km and takes around an hour, though you can go slower and stop for a coffee whenever you like.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes. It is tagged family friendly and the difficulty is rated easy, so school-age children can follow the story and help solve the clues, especially with an adult reading along. The distance is short and stays within the compact old town squares.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated. There is no fixed start time and no guide to meet, so you begin whenever suits you, and you can pause the game and continue later.
Is there anything we should bring?
The game runs on your phone and the route is outdoors through the squares, so make sure your phone is fully charged or bring a power bank. Dress for the weather, since most of the walk is spent outside between stops.
