Where does the Le Marais walk start and finish?
You start at Hôtel de Ville. The route then winds through Le Marais past Hôtel de Soubise, Place des Vosges and Hôtel de Sens, and the last stop is Église Saint-Gervais-et-Saint-Protais, back near where you began.
How long does it take and how far will we walk?
Plan on about an hour to cover 3.2 km and 12 stops on foot, at your own pace. It is best done during the day, when the streets and the facades you need for the puzzles are easy to see.
Is it suitable for children?
It is recommended for families, and the puzzles are built around what is in front of you, which keeps children looking closely at buildings and streets. One stop is the Mémorial de la Shoah, so parents of younger children may want to think about how they will explain it.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so you can play together on your phones. There is no set time slot and no guide to meet: start whenever you arrive at Hôtel de Ville.
Can we take a break partway through?
Yes. You can pause the walk at any point, stop for a coffee or a look around a shop, and continue later from where you left off. The game picks up again at your next stop.
