Is Central Park a good park for visitors who love movies?
Yes. Central Park is described as the most filmed location in the world, and this walk is built around that history. You stroll through the heart of the park, see landmarks that have appeared on both the big and small screens, and pick up fun facts about the productions shot there.
Is The Mall in Central Park on the route?
Yes. The Mall is one of the stops, reached after Bethesda Fountain and followed by Cherry Hill. As at the other stops, you hear about its screen history and get a puzzle based on what you can see around you.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
It starts and finishes at Tavern On the Green, so you end where you began. The full loop is about 7 km and takes around 2 to 2.5 hours. You can pause at any point, take a break and continue later.
