Step into the shoes of two determined detectives chasing a cunning art thief through the streets of Paris. From grand monuments and poetic hideouts to secret gardens and riverside views, each stop reveals a new clue in the city-wide hunt. But beware, the thief is always one step ahead, leaving cryptic hints that could either lead you closer… or send you in circles. Can you solve the puzzles, unravel the twist, and bring the Forgotten Heist to an end before they vanish into the Parisian night?

Puzzle and escape-room fans and pairs of friends get about two hours of detective work, chasing an art thief from the Panthéon past the Medici Fountain, Saint-Sulpice and Café de Flore to the Pont des Arts. It is free to play and gives visitors who already know the Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain a reason to look closer. Anyone wanting a live guide, or unable to walk 3.5 km of city streets, should pick something else.

Where does the detective quest start and finish?
It starts at Place du Panthéon and finishes at Cour Carrée, so it is not a loop. In between you pass the Medici Fountain, Église Saint-Sulpice, rue des Canettes, Café de Flore, the Musée national Eugène Delacroix, the Institut de France and the Pont des Arts.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Most players take about two hours, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route covers around 3.5 km through the Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain, and you can set your own pace along the way.
Is it free, and can we play as a group?
Yes, it is free to play. You and your friends follow the story together on a phone, working out the thief's cryptic hints at each stop as you move across the Left Bank.
Do we need to book a time, and can we pause?
No booking is needed. You start whenever you like, with no group to join and no guide to meet. If you want a coffee or a break, you can pause the game and continue later from where you stopped.
Is it an outdoor game, and what if it rains?
It is a self-guided walk, so you are outside for most of it, moving between streets, squares, a fountain and a bridge over the river. Puzzles are set in what is in front of you, so bring an umbrella on a wet day or pause and resume later.
