Despre acest quest

✍️It's recommended to bring a pen and a notebook (or some papers).

(Ask your hotel to print it for you)

It’s not just a puzzle journey. It’s a way of seeing Leicester Square differently. Streets become clues, statues become characters, and small details start to matter.

With a story tying it all together, every discovery feels meaningful.

If you enjoy thinking differently and seeing familiar places in a new way, this is for you.

E pentru voi?

Pentru cine este

Film fans, families and puzzle-loving couples spend around 70 minutes in Leicester Square, solving clues built into the statues of Batman, Mary Poppins, Paddington, Gene Kelly and more, with a story linking every stop. The walk covers only 0.7 km, so the challenge lies in the medium to advanced puzzles, not the distance. Anyone after a quick look at the statues or a guide to talk through the films should pick something else.

Ce face acest quest special

Puncte importante

  • The quest is compact and easy to fit into your day - minimal walking, all within a lively area full of theatres, bars, and iconic spots.

  • It’s perfect between activities, whether before a show or a movie screening.

  • 💚💚💚Plan to finish your quest before sunset; the garden area usually closes at dusk, which may block your access to certain puzzles.

Câteva răspunsuri înainte de plecare

Întrebări frecvente

What is the Scenes in the Square quest in Leicester Square?
It is a self-guided puzzle walk around the film statues of Leicester Square, played on your phone. You visit Wonder Woman, Batman, Laurel & Hardy, Gene Kelly, Mary Poppins, Harry Potter, Paddington Bear, Charlie Chaplin and William Shakespeare, solving puzzles in what you see while a story ties the stops together.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts in Leicester Square and is a loop, so you finish back in the square at the William Shakespeare statue. The whole route is about 0.7 km, which keeps the walking light and leaves most of your time for the puzzles.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Most players take around 70 minutes, including walking and solving the puzzles. There is no time slot to book: start whenever you like, and you can pause and continue later. Bring a fully charged phone or a power bank, plus a pen and a notebook or some paper.
Is it good for kids?
It is tagged family friendly and a family favourite, but the puzzles range from medium to advanced. Older children who enjoy riddles and spotting details will get the most from it, while younger ones will need adults to help with the trickier clues.
Can we play as a group, and is it free?
Yes, it is free to play, so friends, couples and families can head out together and work through the clues as a team. There is no group to join and no guide, and you can begin whenever suits you.
