Perguntas frequentes
Where can I play a murder mystery game in Toronto?
This one is played outdoors in the Queen Street West area, starting at Trinity Bellwoods Park. On your phone you investigate the death of travel blogger Bella Wanderlust, gathering clues and interrogating suspects such as her boyfriend Walter Bridges and the theatrical ghost tour guide Percy Shadows.
How is this different from a murder mystery escape room?
Instead of a locked indoor room with a timer, you solve the case while walking a 2.2 km route through the neighbourhood, with puzzles set in what you see at each stop. You choose your own start time, so there is no slot to book, and you can pause and continue later.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
You start at Trinity Bellwoods Park and walk about 2.2 km, which takes around 90 minutes. Stops include the former site of Trinity College, Stanley Park, the story of the buried Garrison Creek and the Squirrel Mural, with clues to collect along the way.
Is it suitable for children?
The story centres on a death and is written mainly for adults, but older kids and teens who enjoy puzzles and detective work usually get a lot out of questioning the suspects. Younger children may find the theme dark and the 90 minutes of walking long.
Can our group play together, and what if it rains?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, and everyone can follow the case on their own phones at a time you pick. The route is outdoors through parks and streets, so dress for the weather, and you can pause if a shower comes through and pick up again later.
