Kilka odpowiedzi przed wyjściem
Często zadawane pytania
Is there an outdoor escape room in Winchester, VA?
Yes. This is an escape-room-style game played outdoors on your phone. You walk about 2 km through Old Town Winchester, passing places such as George Washington's Office and the Shenandoah Valley Civil War Museum, and crack puzzles to outsmart the witch in a story inspired by Baum's original Oz novel.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
The game starts at the Old Town Splash Pad and takes around 90 minutes over about 2 km. Its 11 stops include City Hall, the Old Town Winchester Gate on Cork St. and Centenary United Church. You can pause along the way and pick it up again later.
Do we need to book a time slot like an indoor escape room?
No. There is no fixed slot and no guide, so you start whenever it suits your group. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, which makes it easy to organize for friends, birthdays or a work outing.
Is it good for kids?
Families with kids and teens do play it, and the Oz story and original songs help keep younger players interested. The puzzles are escape-room style, so older children and teens get the most from them, ideally with an adult helping. Plan for a 2 km walk of about 90 minutes.
Can I play on my own?
Yes. You can take on the witch's challenges solo and compete on the leaderboard, or team up with friends to solve them together. The game also includes original Oz-themed songs, available in the app while you play and on demand once you get home.
