Kilka odpowiedzi przed wyjściem
Często zadawane pytania
Is this a murder mystery game?
It is a detective mystery rather than a murder case. A whistleblower tips you off, and you work to expose The Kingmakers, a secret society said to manipulate world leaders from the shadows, by solving puzzles on your phone at real stops around Wilmington.
How long does it take and how far will we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes covering about 2.5 km on foot. The route takes in seven stops, including Burgwin-Wright House and Gardens, the Vollers-Hardin-Walker House, the Alton Lennon Federal Building, Bellamy Mansion Museum, Bicentennial Park, Grace United Methodist Church and Bijou Park.
Is it suitable for children?
The game is written for adults and works well for families with teens who enjoy codes and puzzles. Younger children may find the conspiracy storyline and the decoding challenges hard to follow, so it suits groups where everyone can take part in the solving.
Do we need to book a time, and can our group play together?
There is no time slot to book and no guide to meet. You start whenever you like, and one ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated. Everyone follows the story and solves the puzzles together as you walk.
Is it played outdoors, and what if it rains?
Yes, the whole game takes place outdoors as you walk between stops, so dress for the weather. You can pause at any point and continue later, which makes it easy to wait out a shower or split the walk across two outings.
