It starts at the Wanderparkplatz, the hiking car park in Weiningen. From there the app leads you up the vineyard and past Winzerhaus, Haslernstrasse, Im Hasennest and a path near a horse statue, then on to Weingut Haug, the Werffeli family farm shop and the Grosser Weiher pond.
How long does the walk take and how far is it?
Plan on about two hours for a route of 4.1 km, including time at each stop for the story and the puzzle. You can pause whenever you like, for example at the wine shop or the farm shop, and continue later from where you stopped.
Are there stops for local wine and farm products?
Yes. The route includes Weingut Haug, a local wine shop, and the Werffeli family farm shop, which sells local products. These are the moments for tasting or picking up something from the village, so it is worth allowing extra time there on top of the walking.
