Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at the Chiesa della Gran Madre di Dio, on the far bank of the Po, and loops back to the same church at the end. You can begin whenever you like, so there is no meeting time to keep.
How long is the route and what does it cover?
The loop is about 5.2 km. It passes the Fountain of the 12 Months, the Reale Società Canottieri Cerea rowing club, Parco del Valentino and the riverside beach, climbs to Monte dei Cappuccini, then returns through the streets of Borgo Po.
Is it suitable for children?
The quest is designed for all ages, and the puzzles are set in what you see at each stop. Children need to be comfortable walking around 5 km, including the climb up to Monte dei Cappuccini. You can pause and continue later if little legs get tired.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
One ticket covers your whole group, playing on phones up to the number of devices stated at purchase. There is no time slot to book and no guide to wait for: start when you arrive at the Gran Madre and walk at your own pace.
Is it outdoors, and what if it rains?
Yes, the whole route is outdoors, along the river, through parks and up the hill, so dress for the weather. If rain sets in, you can pause the quest and pick it up again later from where you stopped.
