Is this a ghost tour of the Sunshine Coast?
Not in the usual sense. The story follows Bella Wanderlust, a travel blogger found dead during a ghost tour led by the theatrical Percy Shadows. There is no live guide. Your phone leads you around Mooloolaba, tells the story at each stop and sets the puzzles you solve.
How is it different from an escape room?
You solve puzzles and interrogate suspects outdoors, using what is in front of you at each stop, rather than inside a locked room. You start whenever you like, play on your own phones and can pause and continue later, so there is no session time to book.
Can we do it as a murder mystery evening out?
You pick your own start time, so it can fit around dinner or an evening in Mooloolaba. Allow around 90 minutes for the 2.3 km walk. The whole game is played outdoors along the waterfront, so plan for the weather on the night.
