O tej grze

In a forgotten village, on the edge of a dark forest, a legend is about to be born…

When a ruthless horde invades, led by a fearsome warrior with the head of a dog… With courage and cunning, they’ll fight back… not with swords… but with the strength of their hearts and the wisdom of the past.

Witness the battle where legends are forged… and a village’s legacy is sealed in blood and brine.

Czy to dla was?

Dla kogo jest

Families with children of about 7 to 12 follow a legend through Satu Mare: a village outwitting a dog-headed horde, told across 12 stops on a 3.4 km loop of around 90 minutes. Romanian and Hungarian visitors who grew up with the căpcăuni tale will enjoy the retelling. Anyone after dates and architecture facts from a live guide should choose a history tour instead.

Kilka odpowiedzi przed wyjściem

Często zadawane pytania

Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts and ends at Satu Mare Chain Church, so you finish where you began. Along the 3.4 km loop you pass the Roman Catholic Cathedral, the County Museum, the Art Museum, the Synagogue, the Vasile Lucaciu statue and the Firefighters' Tower.
How long does it take to walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes for the 3.4 km route and its 12 stops. There is no fixed pace, and you can pause the game at any point and continue later, which helps if children need a snack break.
Is it good for kids, and what age?
Yes, it is tagged family friendly and works best for children of about 7 to 12. The app tells a legend at each stop and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you, so younger children will likely need a parent's help with the puzzles and the walk.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
No time slot is needed. You start whenever you like on your phone, with no guide and no other group to join. One ticket covers your whole group, so a family or a group of friends can play together.
Is Defeating the Dog-Headed Tatars a history tour?
No. It is a family legend game built on the folk tale of dog-headed raiders, the căpcăuni. The story plays out at real landmarks of Satu Mare, and the app also tells the story of each place you visit.
