Kilka odpowiedzi przed wyjściem
Często zadawane pytania
Is this a murder mystery game I can play in Santa Monica?
It is a detective mystery rather than a classic murder mystery. You play on your phone, walking through Santa Monica and solving puzzles set in what is around you, to expose The Kingmakers, a secret society said to have manipulated world leaders for centuries. There is no host and no booked room.
Where does the game start and finish?
The game starts at LBC and is a loop, so you finish back at the same spot. That makes it easy to plan around parking, public transport or a meal nearby, since you end up where you began after the walk of about 2.7 km.
How long does it take?
Most players take about 110 minutes, so plan for close to two hours including walking and puzzle solving. The route covers about 2.7 km. You can pause and continue later if you want a break for food or a rest along the way.
Can we play as a group, and is it suitable for kids?
Yes, one ticket covers the whole group playing together on the same game. The story is a conspiracy thriller with code-breaking puzzles, so it suits adults and families with teens best. Younger children may find the plot and the length of the walk harder to follow.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No. There is no group to join and no guide to meet, so you can start whenever you like from LBC. The app leads you from place to place, and you can pause the game and pick it up again later.
