Do I need to book a time slot, and how does the app work?
No fixed time is needed. You start whenever you like and play on your phone. The app leads you from place to place, tells the story of each stop and sets a puzzle based on what is in front of you. There is no guide and no group to join.
Where does the murder mystery start, and what route does it follow?
It starts at Rolland Amphitheater. From there the route covers about 1.9 km and takes in Place de la cathédrale, St. Jerome Cathedral, the Jardin des Arts de St-Jérôme, the Cour municipale, Parc Labelle and the Promenade de la Rivière-du-Nord.
How long does it take, and can we take a break?
Plan on around 90 minutes for the walk and the puzzles. You can pause at any point, stop for a coffee or a meal, and continue later from where you left off.
Is it suitable for kids?
It suits older children and teens best. The story centres on a woman found dead during a ghost tour, and players gather clues and interrogate suspects to work out who did it. Younger children may find the theme too dark and the deduction hard to follow.
