It starts and finishes at Marina Portorož. The route is nearly circular and passes the Palace hotel, the old gate of villa San Lorenzo, the tourism office, Therme Portorose, the park at Medusa beach, an observation deck over the central beach and a memorial monument before returning to the marina.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Plan on around 70 minutes for about 4 km of walking, plus any time you spend lingering at the beaches. You can pause the quest at any point and continue later, which helps if the children want a swim or an ice cream halfway round.
Is it good for kids?
