Yes. A hooded Oracle sends you out as a ghost hunter after ten restless spirits, each stuck on unfinished business. Solve a spirit's mystery, catch it and it gives up a clue. Follow the trail, then name the Evil One among them and destroy it. One of the spirits is lying to you.
How is this different from a guided ghost tour in Paris?
There is no guide and no fixed start time. You play on your phone, the app leads you from stop to stop and sets puzzles in what is in front of you. The ghosts are not famous legends: no history book or tour guide knows their names. You can start any time and pause to continue later.
How long does it take and where does the route go?
Plan on around 90 minutes, plus any breaks you take, since you can pause and continue later. The trail passes Place Vendôme, Rue Gaillon, Passage Choiseul, Square Louvois, Rue de Montpensier, Rue Saint-Honoré, Église Saint-Roch and the old Couvent et Club des Jacobins.
Is it suitable for kids?
It suits older kids and teens best. The theme is horror and haunts, with a Halloween story about lost souls and an Evil One, and the puzzles include ciphers and riddles that take some reasoning. Younger children may find the story too dark or the puzzles too hard to enjoy.
