Kilka odpowiedzi przed wyjściem
Często zadawane pytania
Is this a scavenger hunt in Central Park?
Yes. It is a self-guided scavenger hunt and escape game played on your phone. You walk Museum Mile past the Cooper Hewitt, Guggenheim, Neue Gallery, Met and Frick, then head into Central Park for Cleopatra's Needle, Bethesda Terrace, the Literary Walk and the Delacorte Clock, solving puzzles along the way.
What is the Stolen Archives story about?
You play Thomas Clark, a world-renowned detective brought in on a case of stolen archives. Clues move you from stop to stop, and audio stories fill in the history as you go, including the tragic tale of the first American supermodel.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
It starts and finishes at the Pulitzer Fountain, so you end where you began. The route covers about 5.1 km and takes around an hour and 45 minutes, though you can pause at any point and pick it up again later.
Is it good for kids?
It is tagged family friendly, with audio stories and puzzles based on what is in front of you at each stop. The 5.1 km distance suits children who can comfortably walk for close to two hours; younger ones may need breaks, which the pause option makes easy.
Do we need to book a time, and can our group play together?
There is no set start time, so begin whenever you like. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated for the quest, and you can pause the game and continue later if you want to stop for food or a museum visit.
