Kilka odpowiedzi przed wyjściem
Często zadawane pytania
Is there a Wizard of Oz escape room in Mesa?
Yes, this is an outdoor escape-room-style game played on your phone. The story is inspired by L. Frank Baum's original 1900 Oz novel, and you crack puzzles to outsmart the witch as you move between real places in downtown Mesa.
How is this different from a regular escape room in Mesa, AZ?
You get the same puzzle-solving teamwork, but outdoors on Mesa's streets instead of in a locked room. There is no booking slot, so you start whenever you like, and one ticket covers your whole group. Expect around 90 minutes and about 2.4 km of walking.
Where does the Mesa scavenger hunt start and what will we pass?
It starts near the entrance to the i.d.e.a Museum on N Robson and loops back there at the end. Along the way the clues lead you to places such as Twilight Garden, the Old Brick House Market, Queen of Peace Catholic Church and the Arizona Museum of Natural History.
Can we pause the game and finish later?
Yes. You can pause at any point, for a meal or a break, and continue later from where you stopped. Since there is no fixed start time, you can also plan the walk around the weather or your day.
Can I play on my own?
Yes. The game works for groups solving puzzles together, but you can also take on the witch's challenges solo and compare your result on the leaderboard. The original Oz songs made for the game stay available in the app after you get home.
Looking for something magical outside the usual desert hike?
Try The Oz Escape in Mesa. You’ll chase clues through art-filled streets, discover quirky murals, and follow a fantastical storyline inspired by Oz. It feels like stepping into a whimsical world—not just sightseeing.
How can I turn a regular afternoon in downtown Mesa into a fantasy adventure?
Start this self-guided quest and slip into Oz. Murals become magical backdrops, sculptures hide clues, and you follow a story of misplaced magic through Mesa’s artsy streets.
My kids love make-believe—would this capture their imagination?
Yes! With a talking-scarecrow vibe and colorful puzzles, it feels like a storybook brought to life. You can stop for ice cream or playground time, then jump right back into the action.
