Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at Place d'Armes and ends back there, so it works as a loop of about 2.5 km. Along the way you pass the Chocolate House Nathalie Bonn, the Statue of Charlotte, the Golden Lady, Cathédrale Notre-Dame, Grund, the Melusina Statue and the Goethe plaque.
How long does the walk take?
Plan on around 90 minutes for the 2.5 km route, including time to solve the puzzles. You can pause the game at any point and continue later, so a coffee or dinner break in the middle is easy to fit in.
Is it a good date idea in cold weather?
Yes. The route is outdoors, but you can pause and go inside to warm up at almost any location in the game, then pick up where you left off. One of the stops is a chocolate house, which helps on a chilly day.
Where is Grund, and does the quest go there?
Grund is on the route. After Cathédrale Notre-Dame, the quest takes you to the Ascenseur Grund, the lift that brings you down into Grund, before you continue to the Melusina Statue and the Goethe plaque and head back towards Place d'Armes.
Do we need to book a time or buy attraction tickets?
No. You start whenever you like on your phone, with no group or guide to meet. No attraction tickets are required for any stop, and one ticket covers your whole group, so a couple can play together on the same purchase.
