This wasn't some random choice; it was a calculated move. He left the location with one man, who encoded the map across landmarks using symbols carved into the city's oldest stones. Those marks are still there, hiding in plain sight while you grab your morning coffee or walk to work.
You receive the first clue from a source who refuses to identify themselves. The greatest personal treasury ever assembled is waiting for someone with the right eyes to find it. Are you ready to claim what Augustus left behind?

Where does the treasure hunt start and finish?
You start at the Royal Exchange in the City of London. The route takes in places such as St Mary-le-Bow, the Bank of England and The Ned, passes the Royal Exchange again later on, and finishes at George Peabody.
How long does it take and how far will we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes for about 3 km and 14 stops. You set the pace yourself, and you can pause the game at any point and continue later, so a coffee break or a longer look at a stop is no problem.
Does the route include Roman London?
Yes. The story follows Augustus hiding the Imperial Regalia, and the route visits the Roman Amphitheatre Site and the London Mithraeum, along with old City churches such as St Vedast alias Foster and St Olave Silver Street, where clues are hidden in symbols on the stones.
Is it suitable for children?
It suits teens and older children best. The puzzles ask you to follow a historical story and spot symbols and details in the buildings around you, which younger children may find hard without an adult helping them along the 3 km route.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
One ticket covers your whole group, and you play together on your phones. There is no fixed time slot and no guide to meet, so you can start whenever you arrive at the Royal Exchange.
